This thing shines like a star. Of course, a lot of CZ do, but this one doesn't look overly tacky. The single stone is shaped nicely and isn't overly huge or small. This would be good for a younger girl or teenager. I am in my mid-thirties and I think it would look nice, but I wouldn't be fooling anyone that it's a diamond. The hardware on this necklace is better than some of the stuff you find at the mall shops. If you are looking for something to add a bit of sparkle to a neckline for a night out, this would be perfect. This comes in a cute little gift box and the necklace chain was not tangled at all. Which surprised me because most jewelry with a fine chain does have some untwisting that needs to be done. If you have a daughter, granddaughter, this would make an adorable gift. I remember when I was younger, anything that sparkled would be worn and appreciated. I gave my nieces each a high dollar silver chain with a little charm on it when hey were about seven years old. I probably spent a good 35 dollars each one them. Neither of them still have it. Wish I would have bought something like this then and waited to buy the expensive stuff when they were more grown.
